The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has reopened recruitment for an economist with specialization in resource, regional, and/or ecological economics.  This is a career Headquarters position, GS-13/14, but we will consider applicants willing to work in either Ft. Collins, CO or Washington, DC. 
 
BLM’s senior management is committed to improving the Bureau’s ability to deliver relevant and credible socioeconomic information and analysis to address both established and emerging issues.  As the Bureau’s senior technical expert, you will be responsible for providing economic expertise for a fast changing set of assignments, from developing improved methods for estimating tourism’s economic impacts to identifying practical tools for valuing ecosystem services.
