The role
The successful appointee/s will be required to make a strong contribution to the School’s teaching and research programs, and to further enhance the profile and performance of the School. They will be expected to collaborate with colleagues and the Head of School in further developing the School’s programs and linkages with key internal and external stakeholders.
The person
Applicants must possess a PhD in Economics and have an established track record in teaching and research. Ideally, candidates will have expertise in on the following areas: environmental and resource economics, financial economics, labour and health economics (although all fields in economics will be considered). Demonstrated excellence in teaching and the ability to establish effective linkages with industry, government and the wider community are essential.
Remuneration
This is a full-time, continuing appointment at Academic level C. The remuneration package will be in the range $100,275 to $115,623 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of 17% (total package will be in the range $117,322 – $135,279 p.a.).
